Amanda Tran
Managing Director
Amanda Tran is the Managing Director of Investors Private Equity. She is responsible for the Company’s Strategy and Operations, Portfolio Management, and Performance. She is also a Managing Director of Investors Trust, a real estate asset manager and investment advisor. Amanda holds bachelor’s degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Management from the University of California, Irvine. Extra FYI: Amanda’s hobbies include tennis, snow skiing, and anything artistic.
Alain O’Connor
Chief Financial Officer
Alain is the Chief Financial Officer of Investors Trust, which is a real estate asset manager and investment advisor. Alain is responsible for acquisitions, due diligence, financing, budgeting, reporting and lender and investor relations. Alain grew up in Hawaii, and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. He received his degree in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting.
After college Alain worked for the “big four” accounting firm, KPMG, as an Audit Senior Associate and among other duties participated in audits of companies in the hospitality, real estate and financial services industries, including Balboa Bay Club and Newport Beach Country Club. Following his time at KPMG, Alain became the Fund Manager for LBA Realty’s largest private REIT with over $1 Billion in real estate assets and 4 joint ventures. He was responsible for the fund’s accounting, reporting and cash management and was the accounting lead for acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and loan closings, including validating settlement statements, providing funding, and booking transactions. He was also responsible for preparing REIT compliance testing and ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.
Extra FYI: Alain is fluent in Spanish and his hobbies include surfing, sailing, snowboarding and soccer.
Robert O Hill
Chairman
Robert O Hill is the Chairman of the Board of Investors Philanthropic, Investors Private Equity Fund, & General Partner of O Hill Capital, which are headquartered at One Upper Newport Plaza in Newport Beach. Investors Trust is a real estate asset manager and advisor. O Hill Capital is an investment and real estate development company. Projects include Peppertree Bend in San Juan Capistrano and Bear Brand Ranch, which is a 1,550 acre master-planned community in Laguna Niguel, CA. O Hill Capital develops and acquires portfolio investment properties and in addition to Golf Realty Fund, owns Retail Realty Fund, Residential Realty Fund and NNN Realty Fund.
Robert O Hill is a third-generation Orange County Native who attended Newport Harbor High School, the University of Southern California and the University of California Irvine, and served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. Prior to starting his own real estate companies he spent several years involved in real estate investment banking with Dean Witter, now known as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
Robert O Hill is a member of The Reserve, Newport Beach Country Club, SeaCliff Country Club, The Pacific Club, Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. He served for four consecutive years as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bear Brand Ranch Community Association and was appointed by Supervisor Thomas F. Riley to serve as a member of the Major Landowner Committee for Orange County Transportation. Mr. O Hill is a member of the Circle of Leadership and Center Benefactors for the Segerstrom Center of Performing Arts Center, member of the Board of Trustees for the Orange County Art Museum, and is a past member of the Orange County Board of Directors for United Way, in addition to other charitable interests. Extra FYI: He is an avid sportsman who loves golf, tennis, snow skiing and virtually all water sports.
